Hi and welcome Sbrindola,

nice bikes!
Didn't the Jetstream work well as a commuter bike? So you added the Brompton?

The white Kojak fits very nice on the Mu.

Hi Pibach

it worked great, I've been riding it for 6000 km in just one year, but I think that Brompton quality and reliability is at top level.
Also this Brommie was a very good deal from a friend of mine, so I saved good money for a bike which is brand new (only 300 km).

Lovely bikes sbrindola - that Mu looks fast even standing still! Always a pleasure to see folders romping in the snow too.

the Mu is really a lightweight: slightly less than 10 kg.
When I bought it I knew that lightness was the key factor to be sure that my wife was going to use it instead of leaving it in the garage.
For me it's a bit small and delicate (I do not recommend kinetix pro rims for big guys), but when you stomp on pedals you feel the bike flying away.

I love to ride in every condition: I could just jump on a bus with the bike, but it's so much fun even with with snow and rain. I feel like a kid again.
It's just a pity that for 16'' wheels there's not a lot of choice in Schwalbe tyres as for 20''. I would love to have the Supreme and the Winter anso for the Brompton.

I am using a Mu Ex, and before have had a Mu Sl. The Kinetix pro wheels work well, as long as the spokes have correct tension. Unfortunately, there are extremely sensitive to correct assembly, and bad assembly can easily lead to spoke breakage.
